An Italian Theme

The children have had a busy week making pizzas.  They got to make the dough and put their favourite toppings on.  Yummy.

Lots of fun was also had making necklaces out of dried pasta shapes.  The children threaded the string through the shapes to make some lovely designs.

Italian flags painted by the children were all around the preschool.

The children turned part of the inside area into a Pizza Hut restaurant where they could order pizzas and garlic bread to takeaway.  The children were keen to use real money, so a member of staff printed some notes off the internet - if only it was that easy!

The children also had a cash wash, so afer their trip to the Pizza Hut they could take their cars into be cleaned.  A builders merchants was also made where they could go to work to earn the money for Pizza Hut.

Yoga was popular again with lots of smiles on everyone's faces.

The climbing frame was also lots of fun with the children usining up lots of energy.

When Loris told me he had made a pizza I thought he meant our of playdoh...so I was shocked to find the real thing in his drawer! He couldn't wait to get home & eat it all up. It seemed like he'd had a really fun day, thank you.
