Building Site Fun

We are still continuing to learn Good, Hello and Thank You in Makaton signs.

We had lots of interest in building sites and making houses. There was some great team work amongst the children - they helped each other load bricks onto the truck.

We practiced our physical skills on an obstacle course and each part had a different number on it and this helped us to recognise numbers.

We have been learning our storymaking version of 3 Little Piges. This is where we tell the story using actions rather than look at the book – what fun!

On Thursday afternoon we walked to our outdoor area and talked about our Golden Rules which keep us safe. We then explored the area at the bottom, listenting to the snapping of sticks as we walked. We had lots of discussion about testing the ground to see if it was safe and watching out for brambles and low branches. We finished with a game of 1,2 3 Where are you before heading back to preschool.
