Click herWeekly Makaton Signs: Hello, Goodbye and Thank you.
Lots of sparkle this week, with glitter everywhere and having lots of fun creating Christmas surprises. We've been singing lots of Christmas songs and rhymes and have been sharing Christmas stories too. On Wednesday We had a visit from Stanton Drew School and they shared their Jack and the Beanstalk story and song. We had lots of Fee Fi Fo Fumming and it was lovely to see how confident the children who left us in July were. We also had our Sing up, movement and music session and we have been Stretching, curling, stand up tall, curl up small. How else can we move? Jump, hop, slither, wriggle, walk, knees up high Thursday at Forest School we did lots of climbing, crawling and walking along a really big fallen down tree. Some were a little unsure and preferred to watch, whilst the others were happy to try out their balancing skills. On Friday we had our Ofsted inspection, which went very smoothly and there was very positive feedback from the inspector. We will inform you of the outcome and make the report available as soon as it comes through. A special Thank you and well done to Lisa who impressed the inspector with good interaction with the children especially with the added pressure of knowing she was being observed by the inspection process. Well done! Great Job! e to edit.
