A new term and the weather has changed, but there is no such thing as bad weather only bad clothing, so as long as we are dressed right there is nothing else to stop us.
We have been talking about the fireworks, loud bands, with all the pretty lights in the sky. Some of us like to watch from inside the house, others like to be outside but with ear muffs on. Some in their own garden and others going somewhere else to see them, some don't like them at all! We must remember any pets that we may have. We need to either keep them inside or make sure they are all put away and safe because they can get very scared and frightened from the bangs. Wednesday we have our Sing Up CD where we have our movement and dance. Where we learn to just let our bodies move to the music. To move any way we feel and perhaps learn other ways that we can move, by watching others and how they move. Thursday – time to wrap up and lets go splashing and squelching in the mud and that was just on the way to our outside area. The bad witch had been to our area and pulled down our den, but we don't mind, we will just build it again, bigger and better. She won't defeat us. Some of us helped to create a “Guy” for the bonfire at the Druids. We helped to stuff trousers and a jumper full of paper, leaves, grass, sticks and twigs. Some of us had a go at climbing trees and climbing over the big log. Which way was best? Watching others to try different ways. Taking turns, waiting for one another. So many things to learn. We had lunch under our tarpaulin. It was like being in a cave. Later we walked our “Guy” up to the pub.
