The children have been busy this week making crowns and decorations for our Jubilee party. The party was held on Wednesday afternoon and we were joined by parents for a lovely tea party. Our preschool leader was the queen and headed the procession through the school.
Continuing the theme of the Jubilee, the children enjoyed dressing up as Kings and Queens and had lots of fun giving their orders. Sunflowers were sent home with the children this week. Once the sun flowers have grown, the children can enter them in the local flower show which will be held later this year. We had 2 more dogs come to visit this week. The children enjoyed petting them and feeling how smoothe they were. The dogs loved it too! The Hungry Caterpillar was the topic for our yoga session this week. The children had lots of smiles and laughter acting out this story. For our Thursday afternoon session the children visited the alottment. They had fun digging up the soil and planting runner bean seads with the hope of growing a magic bean stalk.

Loris had a lovely time at the jubilee tea party, thank you. He has been amazed by watching his sunflower seed start to shoot & grow.
