A lot of fun was had making pancakes. The children enjoyed mixing the ingrediences and they especially enjoyed tasting them after. One child, who flatly refused to eat them at home enjoyed eating them here - ours must of tasted really good! After eating them, the children then had a fun pancake race which had the children laughing and cheering on their friends with great sportsmanship.
Billy Goats Gruff continued to be acted out during our yoga session. With staff and children getting into lots of funny poses. The children also used the musical instruments to make lovely music to go along with the Billy Goats Gruff story. Lots of junk modelling has been done where the children made some wonderful designs. A Dragons Lair was made as a den and the children loved it. They enjoyed playing in there and using their imagination. Water play was very popular outside with the children. They loved filling the tubes and guttering with water. For our Thursday afternoon session, the children enjoyed making and flying their own kites. And finally, a tug 'o' war was held and again prompted great sportsmanship.

It looks like it was fun fun fun this week. Didn't hear about all of them from Alex (he says it's a 'secret' when I ask) but he loved the pencake race and was very proud of his Treasure Island. And he loved Chineese New Year on the previous weeks. Thank you for the varied and great stuff you do with the kids!
