We are still learning about our body and our body parts in Yoga with the children doing some fantastic moves.
We are still practicing our Handa's Surprise. We are looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday afternoon we practiced for sports day. The children are really good and have coloured teams which they are. Please ask them what colour they are in. The children have made animal masks for our story sharing on Tuesdays. The children are welcome to take them home as long as they are back in on a Tuesday. We have been playing hospitals. The children have been practicing caring for each other. The children have been thinking how they make people better, who makes you better and what the patient needs. The children decided they needed walking sticks, medicine, stethoscope to listen to our hearts, thermometer for temperature. Even Lisa had a bad leg and needed bandaging up and a walking stick. We had school visits to Stanton Drew & Pensford schools. All went really well. On Thursday afternoon we went strawberry picking. We took a minibus to chosen Hill farm. We had a lovely strawberry hunt, picked lots of strawberries and only tasted a few!! We then looked for other fruit and veg and found sweetcorn, blackcurrants and gooseberries. We each took some strawberries home and the rest will be on sale at our party tonight. Mrs Britton, from Pensford school, visited us on Friday. She saw what lovely fun we were having and how confidently everyone was playing with our friends. She has taken the Learning Journeys home for the children starting at Pensford school in September.

Loris has really enjoyed practicing for the Handa's Surprise performance. He had been singing the animal songs at home over and over again!
