We are still learning Thank You, Good and Hello in Makaton signs.
For yoga this week we had The Hungry Caterpillar. What fruits can we eat? Let's count. What shapes can we create? Butterflies delivered apples, elephants gave bananas, monkeys brought oranges, ions came with biscuits and there were many more dogs, cats and horses. We are still enjoying the sunshine and the sand, lots of pouring and scooping, sharing and filling up pots. We are still talking about shapes, seeing shapes in other objects, matching and drawing of shapes. A very successful cake sale and table top sale. Thank you to everyone who baked a cake and to those who turned up to help us eat them. More thanks goes out to all those who had a clear out of clothes no longer wanted, needed or liked anymore. On Thursday afternoon we walked to our outdoor area and remember out outdoor golden rules. We explored the area and bashed down some stinging nettles to make a path though to the big tree. on our way back we found a baby frog. We watched him hop around and then tried hopping ourselves! We played 1, 2, 3 Where Are You listening to the voices. We planted daffodil bulbs to take home and to see how they grow.
