In our Yoga session this week we did the Little Red Riding Hood story - we had lots of fun and stretching. For our Fish, Chips and Peas game, we changed our Fish, Chips & Peas game to Turkey, Sprouts and Roast Potatoes. The children loved racing about to the new names.
Our easel was popular this week, with the children doing lots of painting. We had a Spanish Day on Wednesday, this was following on from lots of childrens recent holidays there. We had Tapas cooked with the children by a dad. A pinata with lots of goodies inside. The children enjoyed learning some spanish words and phrases. We concentrated on more Christmas craft surprises - so no peaking when you pick your child up. We have been rehearsing our nativity play and learning new Christmas songs and rhymes. We started to open our advent calenter - you may find chocolates in the children's drawers. Everyone will get a change and if its their day, they will get to sit in the newly decorated sleigh on the stage.

The Spanish day was very good, the children all seemed to enjoy it. The staff put so much effort into everything they do for the children.
