We hold a sports day at the end of term 6 so we thought we'd start our practice off nice and early! The children have loved it and are getting the hang of the relay race and wow we have some magnificent wellie wangers among us!
Forest School: The tricky witch had been and knocked down our den, oh no! never mind we had great fun building a new one; using our great team work skills we moved it all and built it in a new place, much better! We also had a walk over to the allotments and found 3 little pigs and then had a look at all the fruits and vegetables growing. Sun cream: When the sun is out at the moment it is quite strong. As the weather gets warmer please apply sun cream to your children accordingly to keep them protected from the sun whilst at preschool. Thank you Clothing Collection May 3rd We are having a clothing collection on Tuesday the first day back after the bank holiday. Please bring along your unwanted clothes and paired shoes in black bags please. The clothes are then weighed in and we get paid per kilo raising valuable funds for preschool. Closure May 5th Please remember that the preschool is closed next Thursday as the hall is being used as a polling station.

Hello and welcome back to Term 5 (April 11th - May 27th)
and a warm welcome to our three new children starting this term. How lovely it was to have the sun shining this week, the children had lots fun playing outside, making dens or is it a dog basket! Yay! it was warm enough for some water play! the children loved having the water out and enjoyed experimenting with different textures by adding sand to it. Ooh really slimy, then a bit more sand, Urgh is that dinosaur poo! squishing and squelching it, loads of fun! Forest school; Wow spring is amazing, so much had grown since our last session, and so pretty. Lots of dafodils, bluebells and wild garlic everywhere. |
