Floods and lots of fun

First of all we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who gave us the Tesco vouchers.  We managed to get some new bricks with them and the children have had lots of fun playing with them and constructing lovely towers.

As a result of the floods on Monday, our Yoga was based on "floods" and the children enjoyed getting into various positions at the same time as discussing the floods.

The computer was popular with the children.

It was lovely to see a child's grandad come in and play - we are not too sure who had the most fun, the children or the grandad!

Lots of messy painting was done when the children painted pine cone.

We are continuing to learn the story of The Three Little Pigs with lots of story makin and musical instruments.

On Thursday afternoon, we visited the allotment and did lots of digging in the rain!

The children have been having lots of fun learning the story The Three Little Pigs by doing yoga along with the story.

A Sandwhich Shop has been set up for the children to have fun trying new fillings and this makes the snack time even more fun.

Our listening centre is very popular with the children enjoying the songs and the audio books.

On Thursday afternoon we went along to an orchard where we picked some apples.

Can we start by saying a big welcome back to everyone.  We hope you enjoyed the summer break!

The children have been settling in well and telling us all what they did in the holidays.  What fun they had.

Our Yoga lady is back and is doing Three Little Pigs.  The children enjoy this session very much and enjoyed showing us how flexible they can be.

On Thursday afternoon we walked to the orchard and picked some apples - get ready for some crumbles to come home soon.  Raspberries were also picked at the alotment.  We also watched the farrier put new shoes on a horser and we were allowed to take an old horse shoe home.
