Weekly Makaton Signs - Hello, Good and Thank you.
More practise of our Christmas Songs with lots of Snoring Kings and bumping Camels. Lots of sticking and snipping creating wonderful pictures to share with our loved ones. Also a parent kindly donated inner tubes of toilet and kitchen rolls. Its amazing what things you can create from these with a little imagination. Music and movement. Seeing how our bodies can move. We had a lot of Kings in amongst us as we listened to "3 Kings" another one of our Christmas songs. Monday Yoga and our story is 3 Little Pigs stretching, curling, being tall and being small. How can we make ourselves tall, how can we make ourselves small. Balancing and swaying. We also have the props out for 3 Little Pigs, which the children have been accessing freely. Using the props to tell the story to one another and everyone having a part to play. Thursday Forest Club - Bit wet, bit muddy but hey! Lots of fun. Slipping, sliding whoa mind out! Climbing trees, writing in the mud, finding toads in the road. let's help him to cross. Jump, jump high. How high can we jump. Snacks and lunch under a shelter and hot chocolate mmm lovely. As the weather is set to get chillier gloves, hats and scarves maybe needed, keep those fingers, necks and heads warm. Babies have been out this week. Lots of understanding in how to care for them. Feeding, drinking, washing, keeping warm and most importantly cuddles, Lots of very good caring mummies and daddies. Taking the babies for a stroll around the garden. Make sure they are strapped in and keeping warm.
