For our Yoga this week we went to the fair! How did we get there? - by car? We had a flat tyre, so we caught the train, followed by a boat ride, but the boat had a leek! So we needed to walk, but Hey - we saw the twinkling lights. We went on the log flume, the big dipper, the tea cups - we need a big rest now.
Gromit challenge. We would love to see any photos/drawing of the Gromits. Can you bring them in to add to our display. There are around 80 to visit in and around Bristol for only 10 weeks. We've had the paddling pool out with the babies - lets dabble our feet to keep us cool. We talked about the flowers needing water and the birds and any pets we have. Making sure they have plenty of shade too! Handa's Surprise. The children had a lovely time showing their parents/grandparents their own story. The children added their own songs and lots of makaton was also added. The children have been very creative outside this week. They've been doping blow painting with straws. String painting, and the children showed good imagination and creativity. The children have been enjoying large cardboard boxes, pretending they were animals and curling up in them for animal beds. They took it in turns caring for the pets and making sure they had plenty to drink in the hot weather. On Thursday afternoon we walked to the allotments and picked Raspberries, Strawberries and Mange-tout. We went on a hunt to see how many feathers and butterflies we could see. Then we showed we could use our good listening ears we picked a flower to take home.
