Jack Frost and Lots of Paint

The children have been very, very busy this week doing lots of beautiful paintings.  They did so much we nearly ran out of paint!  We didn't realise we had so many wonderful artists in our midst - perhaps a new Picasso in the making!

We've had lots of chats about Jack Frost and how now it is colder , the leaves are off the trees.  We need to wrap up warm!  Our pond was frozen - what shall we do!!!  We also talked about the need to put food out for the birds because the ground was hard and they couldn't dig for worms.

On Thursday afternoon we went to our Outdoor Area and found that the birds had eaten all the food - again!!  We had lots of fun making piles of leaves and then throwing them up in the air.  Our numbers kept disappearing again - we think the Tricky Witch had some helpers!!!!! 

We got out the crayons out again and made some wonderful pictures with our leaf patterns.
