A big thank you for the WOW stickers coming in. The children are very proud when they read them out.
We have had lots of fun playing with balloons - putting different things inside them, for example, cornflour with no air in the balloon but tied up so the children could squeeze and manipulate the balloon. This was good for fine motor skills. We've also blown the balloons up to different sizes and listened to the different percussion sound - little quiet to thumping big noises. We have done lots of number recognition. We've hidden numbers in the preschool, played "4 corners" - these are also good things to do at home. On the computer we have been playing "fizzy" numbers to practice our counting and to help recognise numerals. Outside we have had the garage and the drain pipes out for the cars to go up and down on. The children had lots of fun guessing which car will go the furthest and some children even used a tape measure to measure which one travelled more than the others.
